Cod with a Black Pudding Crust

A deliciously simple dish of our award-winning Black Pudding and succulent cod. Serve with a fresh salad for a mouthwatering midweek meal.



Serves 4

4 thick cod fillets

2 slices/200g Farmer’s Son black pudding

1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce

2 spring onions, finely sliced

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 220C/425/Gas7

  2. Mash the black pudding with the chilli sauce and spring onions

  3. Place the fish on a lightly greased baking sheet, divide the black pudding mixture between the 4 fillets.

  4. Roast for 12 minutes, remove from the oven and allow to sit for 10mins before serving with salad or vegetables.
