Our Story: Food with Heritage 

Founder of the Farmer's Son, Pete Mitchell, comes from a long line of farmers and producers. He can trace his family's farming heritage back to the early 1700s, where for almost 300 years, they've farmed the same part of Scotland, as they do today, growing superb crops and rearing award-winning livestock, while caring for the environment.

Our Mission: Artisan Food with Real Provenance

The Farmer's Son produce Scottish Black Pudding, Haggis & White Pudding from our 100 year old family recipe. Based in the heart of Scotland in the beautiful countryside of Fife,  we only use the finest natural ingredients with absolutely nothing artificial.

Our products are handmade using ethically sourced ingredients & sustainable farming practices and crafted in small batches, for only the finest quality and freshness. We produce food how 'it used to taste', taking time, hard work and care to make sure quality is never compromised.
